A chronological survey of English literature. Includes selected writers and writings from Beowulf to 1798. Offered every semester.

Prerequisite(s): Completion of six (6) hours of composition (EH 1301 & EH 1302) or six (6) hours of Great Books courses with a grade of C or higher.
